From 13 to 15 October 2026, Nuremberg hosted Chillventa, the biennial leading trade fair for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps. It was an opportunity for CSM TUBE to present its stainless steel tubes for heat exchange and meet heat exchanger manufacturers from around the world, building new partnerships.
Our booth, in Hall 1, Booth 1-516, enjoyed a very positive turnout, with more than 100 meetings over the three days of the show. The CSM TUBE sales and technical team was available throughout the fair to analyse every requirement and propose tailor-made solutions. Thank you to everyone who stopped by. Specialist Forum talk: how CSM TUBE makes the switch from copper to stainless steel reliable
A highlight of our participation was the talk by Giosuè Tormena, Plant Manager, and Oliver Degen, CEO of CSM TUBE, at the Chillventa Specialist Forums. The lecture, “Stainless Steel Tubes for Heat Exchange Applications: A Sustainable and Reliable Alternative to Copper”, took place on Wednesday, 14 October 2026 in Hall 8. Stainless steel tubes are a sustainable and reliable alternative to copper: 100% recyclable, compatible with new low-GWP refrigerants, corrosion resistant and able to ensure cost and supply stability.
A safe switch requires a supplier able to deliver consistent quality. That is why CSM TUBE keeps investing in continuous technological and production development:
- Advanced forming technologies, developed with the University of Padua and CSM MACHINERY
- TIG or laser welding and in-line heat treatment, for consistent weld seams and mechanical properties close to off-line annealing
- Tube in pressure-tested coils, to reduce offcuts and simplify handling at the customer’s site
