CSM was founded in 1981 as Engineering company for
the projecting and manufacturing of machinery and lines
for the production of tubular heating elements.
In those years there was no solution in demand for quality
tubes, with specific dimensions and lengths.The founder
of CSM and actual President Mr. Giorgio Trolese answered
to these needs in 1983, building a production division
for stainless steel tubes and proposing to the market
high quality stainless steel tubes, WIG electro-welded
in small diameters and thickness, supplied to required
length.

So
CSM Tube was born.
Starting from one production line in 1983, with
yearly production of 2,5 millions of meters in three
diameters (7,50-9,50-10,00 mm), today has been reached
a production
of 14-15 millions of meters each year through seven
production lines, in thirty different tube diameters
included from 5,00 to 25,00 mm and thickness from
0,40 to 1,50 mm. Since 2001 we have available
the possibility to supply all the tubes heat treated
in controlled atmposphere, in coils or in straightened
bars, cut to length up to 14 meters. |

CSM Tube
produces according to the internationals standards
foreseen for the different kind of product and
for different final purposes, CSM carries
out a pressure test on the 100% of heat treated
tubes in coils.
The most used alloys are the austenitic ones,
range AISI 300 and high nickel- content ones (alloy
800-825-840-600-601).Since 2001 CSM Tube operates
in new facilities of 5.000 m².
This growth was possible thanks to quality of
supplied products, service, competitiveness and
to the continuous technological innovation that
CSM grants.Important was also the continuous searching
of new markets, new fields and new particular
needs to be satisfied.

The
high quality level and the respect of confirmed
delivery times are our strong points. CSM's
stock of tube and/or raw material is 1,5-2,0 millions
of meters that allow to answer to the market
requests with timely deliveries.
The high technological level of production lines
allows CSM Tube to be very flexible with contained
production costs. |

This means a continuous search for new fields of application
and with particular needs to be satisfied. CSM Tube
started in 1983 the production of stainless steel tubes
for heating elements (three diameters) to reach in 2003
reaches commerce fields for several applications.
Tubes for heat exchangers, house and industrials boilers,
refrigeration of food liquids, components for the automotive
industry, we nominated only the most known.
The realisation of all this was possible through an adequate
sales organisation, present in all of European countries,
in the East of Europe, in the Arabic Countries, in South
Africa, in South America and in Asia, where the headquarter
is in Singapore.
The innovation spirit and the obsessive search for the
improvement transmitted by the founder Mr. Giorgio Trolese
are pushing the development of technological innovations,
are making more efficient the production and commercial
organisation, capable to anticipate the market evolution,
in all of its particularities and continuous changes. |
